Why is Indian Art a good Investment - Part 1

I have been collecting Indian Art for 25 years now.

I am not the biggest collector , but I am not the smallest collector

Today I start with my first blog, on Indian Art, which coincides with the launch of my
Art Advisory company . I plan to demystify the concept of buying Indian Art.

I want to make it easy for people to understand what they need to know  about the art market .

Every one of my posts will either cover an artist, or a topic.

The idea behind this blog is to demystify the Art Market in India. For many people its a very intimidating process of getting to understand what to buy and how to buy it.

Initially for years, considered to be a haloed topic of discussion, for many (including me) a fascinating subject and only for the upper echelons of society.

This has changed in the last few years. Exactly as fashion has been democratized , so has the art world. Dont get me wrong, there are still those who are of the old school ideas, that only a few can afford it. I know, most people , if they are smart , can build up a good collection with patience and education.
